WORKSHOP: CERTIFICATION AND LABELING OF LED LAMPS
OBJETIVO
This WORKSHOP deals with the main aspects related to INMETRO certification and PROCEL labeling for LED lamps.
It will technically address the performance characteristics of LEDs, the correlated standards and the INMETRO and Eletrobras Ordinances. The WORKSHOP aims to assist manufacturers and importers in the compulsory processes for certification of LED lamps, presenting the required requirements.

ALFREDO BOMILCAR
Electrical Engineer graduated from FEI and post-graduated in Administration and Product Management at Fundação Getúlio Vargas. Technical Director at ABILUMI. Works for over 25 years in the Lighting area, with experience in Quality Assurance, with emphasis on compliance and regulation of new products in the Brazilian and Latin American market. EC Member 034.01: Lamps; and active participant in PROCEL /INMETRO regulations for LED products.
CLAUDIO TORELLI
Entrepreneur working for more than twenty years in the Quality area as director of Accredited Bodies in the segments of inspection and certification of products.
He is a member of the Council of the National Association for Conformity Assessment – ABRAC. He served as advisor to the National Council for Conformity Assessment – CONAC, president of the National Association of Inspection Bodies and member of the Technical Advisory Committee to the accreditation division of INMETRO.
DANIEL BOUTS
Architect and Urbanist graduated from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - UFRJ. Specialist in Energy Efficiency by the Specialization Course on the Rational Use of Energy at UNIFEI. He has worked at Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras S/A - Eletrobras since 2005, within the scope of the National Electric Energy Conservation Program - Procel, in which he is part of the nucleus responsible for managing the Procel Seal in the Lighting and Solar Water Heating segments.
JOSÉ LUIZ MACEDO BARROS_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb53
Engineer graduated at Universidade Gama, with 35 years of experience in the Lighting area having worked for about 30 years at General Electric Lighting in the Industrial, Quality and Products areas. Director of the TOP LAB Lighting Laboratory, which works directly in tests related to the most diverse types of Lamps and Luminaires, with strong experience in the development of products and processes in the Lighting area.
GUSTAVO IERVOLINO DE MORAIS
Electrical Engineer with emphasis in Telecommunications at PUC-Campinas. He has experience in the field of testing for product certification against ANATEL and INMETRO standards. Responsible for Technical Support of the Laboratory of Tests and Tests of the Instituto de Pesquisas Eldorado, secretary of the EMC Study Commissions of ABNT, member of the Technical Subcommittee on EMC of INMETRO, teaches courses in metrology, measurement uncertainty calculation, electromagnetic compatibility and electrical safety.
JULIANA IWASHITA
Architect from FAU-USP, Master in Electrical Engineering from Escola Politécnica da USP. Member of Cobei, CB-03, where she works as Coordinator of the Commission of Technical Standards for Lighting Applications and Photometric Measurements. Member of CIE, IESNA and ASBAI. Professor of postgraduate courses in lighting. Director and consultant at EXPER Soluções Luminotécnicas.
VICENTE SCOPACASA
Electronic engineer with a postgraduate degree in Business Administration and Marketing. He has experience in semiconductors, having worked in companies in the sector for more than 35 years. He works as a consultant and professor in postgraduate courses in solid state lighting.
