GUIDED TOUR TO THE LIGHTING LABORATORY DO CEPEL
DESCRIPTION
This course aims to provide a technical update for professionals in the lighting field who want to specify, design or sell lighting systems using LED technology.
O curso will address concepts and contents related to LED technology and what is necessary to evaluate a LED product at the time of specification and during the lighting project.
Part of the course will take place at CEPEL's Lighting Laboratory, where photometry tests, electrical and safety tests are carried out on lamps and led luminaires.
OBJETIVO
The objective of the course is to make lighting professionals aware of the technical performance and safety requirements that must be observed during specification and design using LED lamps and luminaires in order to guarantee higher quality products and performance in lighting installations.

Electrical engineer graduated from UFRJ, with a technical course in Electrotechnics from CEFET/RJ, working in the lighting area since 2000, working on energy efficiency projects in the PROCEL and ReLuz programs at Eletrobrás. A Cepel employee since 2006, he is currently Manager of the Lighting Laboratory.
